A New Leaf ‘s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy program provides survivors of domestic
violence, sexual assault, stalking, etc. with advocacy services.
Court Advocates, bilingual in Spanish and English, provide individuals with the tools and
resources necessary to apply for Orders of Protection and Injunctions of Harassment.
Services include assistance with protective orders, Court Accompaniments for protective order
hearings and some family court hearings, provision of referrals for service of protective orders,
safety planning, community resources, referrals to legal assistance, and victims rights
information and advocacy.
The Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Program assists anyone needing court advocacy who is
a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking. Services focus on Maricopa County,
including families residing in A New Leaf’s Faith House or Autumn House shelters. The
Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Program provides services according to the needs of clients,
ensuring that proper resources, expertise, and guidance are provided to all survivors of
domestic violence.
